Forever seems so distant
Much further than today
You turn around and in an instant
You find that you are just as far from yesterday
The day it feels like winter
The night it feels like stone
You turn around and you remember
When you're surrounded
You can still feel so alone

But it's in between the start and end
I find myself once again
Questioning this place
Calling out your name
San Angelo
What do you know
And tell me do you have something to say
Don't get me wrong
But I miss my home
And it feels like I'm a million miles away...

I've been wanting to draw this scene for a looonnnggg time. It's Nova, Rainshadow's mother. Out of all my characters I think Nova has the saddest story, poor thing was sentenced to an eternity on Earth for getting pregnant. No family, no friends, no loved ones. She never even got to say goodbye to her mate.
All she wants is to return home to the Celestial Haven with her daughter whom's innocent proved her worthy of returning.



Celestial haven/spirits/their story/Nova/Rainshadow are all MINE. It upsets me when I see blatant rip offs of my book.

Oh my gosh ToT This is just so sad and touching, I love how you can barely see a bit of the sadness in Nova's face but the angle of the picture obscures it, which kind of symbolizes how she puts on a happy face but is really suffering deeply inside. The background is gorgeous and the lens flare really captures the distance as well as the stars in the background. The snippet of lyrics is perfect and I like the breif description you put on the picture.
